I could use some opinions
From the top, I got lucky and found a 30 gallon aluminum fuel cell from a boat a few years back that fit between the frame rails of my 94, it draws from the top with no trouble. DT360, no question. Love the simplicity of the idi but the 360 is a more robust platform, a true medium duty engine with liners as opposed to the parent bore of the 6.9.- Blue94

Allison 6 speed transmision?
I think the 6sp 1000 series has 2 OD gears, I talked to Allison in Indy and they would only allow with 1 OD Gear with the custom program and the stand alone controller. I bet that 466e has a 3500 series trans that only had 1 OD to start with, I could be wrong though. That’s the drive train one...- Blue94

Amen, the 6.2/6.5s were not Detroit’s Diesels. That drives my dad insane when people say that. He has been a diesel mechanic for about 56 years now, Went to DD school in Colorado after the military, retired thank goodness.- Blue94

NA IDI Towing Test
My 94 NA single wheel CCLB 4wd in the sig weighs at around 7k +/- 50 lbs everytime. 33k gross is a heck of a load. The heaviest I have ever been was 22.5k gross hauling a 30' grain bin 100 miles to the house. I could feel the heat off of the transmission tunnel, I have 2 cummins trucks with...- Blue94

Fuel pressure changed timing?
I haven’t checked it but I know I am having fuel issues with my facet and my timing is a bit off anyway. Dad has loaned me his snap on inductive injection line tool (snap on) but I need to fix the fueling issue first. I am sure that facet drops to 1 psi under a load. I may be hitting you up...- Blue94

What do y’all pull with your truck?
I haul anything needing hauled that pic with the dirt is with 5000 lbs of top soil the other day, that was a bunch and I had not planned to haul more than 3000 lbs but the loader dumped all at once and the truck was right at 12000 pounds on the scales.
