7.3 IDI with ATS 088 turbo, how ?
I have a '86 F-250 6.9 with the same turbo and I had a similar issue. Depending on how badly your exhaust housing/pipes are worn out you can fix this problem a few ways. Gear Vendors oil
I changed the oil on my gear vendors unit last week and tried to track down the gm part numbers listed in the Gear Vendors manual. The part number is a 75w-90 manual transmission oil/fluid for gm transmissions. After I found out that oil cost $39 a quart(yikes!!!) I decided to call Gear Vendors...- blackcloudf250
