Detroit Diesel 8.2 turbo in F-500?
First of all I know almost nothing about these engines. But I can tell you they don’t use GM 2 stoke injectors the injectors are different then the 53-149 series Detroits use as well as the EMD 567-710s. Both are rack controled unit injectors but other than that they are totally different injectors.- 426hemi

Not sure if this is the right section to post this question or not but I have a small GM diesel (6-71N Detroit) I have switched to N55s and it’s in a small boat. 16-567 EMD question
I got a 16-567 Turbo and 567 power assemblies are getting very scarce I know you can run 645 kits if you remove the turbo and install blowers yielding the same 2300hp. My question is if you run the 645 power assemblies with the turbo will the engine blow up? If so what’s the weak point? Are we...- 426hemi
