Cam Sensor Recall
Has anyone recieved a letter from Ford over this? I did recently. Visited Dealer . No out of pocket. Ford switched suppliers and is suing previous supplier. 25$ from new vendor. 139$ from old vendor. Service department says if you have previous failures and failed parts,Ford will reimburse you...- 00-7.3

poor idle and more...
Is it hard to start ? If so unplug Coolant Temp Sensor and try starting cold. If it fires right up,high probability that belt tension is loose causing cam advance and fuel retard. Likely a big dollar fix with bent valves which would explain rough idle etc. My 2002 TDI is in right now for this...- 00-7.3
