In the process of transplanting this 1992 12v into a 1979 F250. I have always wanted an old cummins, and even though the NP435 doesn't have OD, 3.54 Diffs and 39.5" swampers should bring the RPMs down to 1800 at 65 mph, in 4th gear. I used DCS's motor mounts, an 11" ceramic clutch and a ford small block adapter.

engine installed, will have to cut my hood for that cute 5" hood stack.

cut me a lil slack as I am working with basic hand tools, but have a real love for these rust buckets. Do you think that I will have cab noise with that stack setup ;burnout

LOL
Looking good.
Is this going to be a daily driver?

Haha no, sadly this will not be a DD, more like a bombproof dirt roader/go anywhere where there are no roads type of truck. Exhaust from the engine compartment is against Oklahoma regulation, but I mean this is Craig County. once youre out of town, youre out of earshot.

mocking up the intercooler lines. battery will need to be moved to the rear passenger or front driver's side.

really hope there is enough room for a 6637 up front as well.

I am going to need one funky lower radiator hose.

starting it this weekend. I had my truck on jackstands for all of 4 days while waiting for different hex 13/16s OD nuts and the town council already has filled my mailbox with claims they will tow it and charge me 7500 for having a junk vehicle. I think they are begging for this thing to leave a few donuts in their yard at 3 AM.. but i digress. very exciting.

It lives! 4 gauge battery cables refused to start it. went up to 2 gauge and figured out my issue. Will try to get more shots of it as well as upload a good pic of where i put everything.
