i want to lift my truck some but don't know if I want 4 inch or 6 inch or just a couple more inches with a shackle kit or helper springs. It's leveled out on 315's right now almost anyway I got 2 inches in the front from a leveling kit but it's those "mini leaf packs". If anyone has a kit for sale I maybe interested in it! also want a good ride quality and have heard with the new lift springs up front it rides better than stock springs do.

I have customsuspension.com leafs... 2-leaf, 2" lift... tapered leafs like stock Ford. They're a little bit 'sturdy' (current offering is a 3-leaf; stock is 6 leaf) but rather have that than flexy softride stuff thats sags & wanders, or rough country that rides like a brick.

Isn't there a bunch of modification for that? Or is it bolt in stuff?

This looks like bolt-in:

Just a few holes on the frame horns if you go with the overpriced ORU.
Holes and a little welding to box the frame if you go with SKY etc. Everything else bolts on.

Will also need taller lift blocks, dropped pitman arm and depending on the amount of lift either a dropped bracket or adjustable tracbar. I'd recommend getting both to keep good front end geometry.

The truck in my sig was a 460 therefore it has the softer two leaf pack up front. With the RSK I will be perfectly level and should be riding...well it rides good now...when it had the 460/C6 it reminded me of an LTD or Continental. Point is for a factory brick diesel a 460 pack and an RSK I thiink would be a cheap easy sweet ride leveling kit.

Does rough country really ride that stiff? I was kinda hoping to hear I could just buy springs, pitman arm and shocks not totally remanifacture the whole front end but I also want to do it somewhat right without totally breaking the bank on it lol I want a slight lift im sitting basically level right now but would like to do away with my "mini leaf" pack. What's involved in a reverse shackle kit? I don't mind drilling while just welding things to my frame I'm not a fan of, also without a welder.

Customsuspension.com has some f350 springs for sale right now, somewhere around 470-525$ 2”,3”, and 4” lift springs. I’d buy those, a drop pitman arm for a 4” lift and Tuff Country 4” block and you’re good.

I had a 4" Rough country kit fall in my lap when I had my F350. It was okay on pavement.... rough on anything that wasn't. It did the job though. I'm happier with the leafs from Carrier (customsuspension.com)

My current setup:

Is the truck currently lifted 4 inches in picture? Do you think it's rough country springs or the shocks causing a stiff ride? You don't happen to have the old springs by chance?? I'm mainly on pavement but also use logging roads known and again that can get a little rough.

That pic is with the 4" rough country springs. I traded my stock suspension for it. Sold the truck 8 years ago. Don't remember what shocks. Logging road, especially washboarded/pot-holed stuff, was the worst riding of all. Keep it slower than 30km/h to avoid back injury... lol.
