If you want to keep rust away never change your gaskets and just let the oil fly!!! lol fords famous oil undercoating starts when your trucks old enough to start rusting and gradually ads more oil over time to keep the rust away forever! Add an exhaust leak or two and it repaints the frame black forever too

My '92 with the E4ONO has that drain tube. When your transmission front pump seal fails, you can watch it pump out all it's ATF out through that tube. I know this one from experience:Thumbs Up

Whenever I cross a grade, when I get to the other side I always stop as soon as I can and look underneath my truck to see if that tube is wet. The problem has long since been fixed, but the paranoia will never go away LOL

That would be a 93 model year. Back in the day the "new" model year started in either August or September, don't remember exactly what one.. So production date of 11/92 is 93...

"Back in the day"? Um, when was the last time you looked in a new car showroom in September or October, and DIDN'T see the next year's models out? That's been going on for 50+ years, and still is.

Not with the '18 Ford Expeditions! They are still hard to find, at least in my area...

I say back in the day because now the new year models are showing up in June or earlier... Used to be you wouldn't even see ads for new year cars until September....
