Water on top of resivor

Waz up guys i have a 93 f250 7.3 idi i recently noticed water on top of my radiator resivor like its been over flowing any ideas and its filled up to the right amont

Water or antifreeze????? First step is to get it hot, pop the hood and look for an obvious leak. Can't find one then get a pressure tester and slightly, very slightly over pressure it looking again for an obvious leak.

Look at the neck around the cap. (With the brass radiator, I've seen the solder fail there)

Is your radiator cap in good shape? It could be leaking and letting coolant sit on top of the radiator.

OP, are you referring to the coolant reservoir (the plastic tank on the inner fender), or the top tank of your radiator?

The plastic resivor and theirs no leaks and i just bought the cap cause i thought that was it its a 13lbs cap is that ok

If you bought a non-Motorcraft radiator cap, you are most likely creating more problems for yourself. Search radiator caps and you'll see that these engines are very specific on what works well on them, and aftermarket caps are notorious for causing cooling issues.

Also make sure that after the truck is warmed up and running that coolant isn't bubbling up in the reservoir.
