I️ don’t doubt the mileage. The town is all of 2 or 3 square miles if my memory is correct. Because it sits right on the Atlantic I’d be curious about the saltwater/air effects over the last 30+ years.

Maybe they drove it just once on a salted road or something or stored in high humidity, low miles I believe but the rust make me question. if only 9500 miles why would the injection pump need replaced? Excellent truck though defiantly in better shape than mine lol

Nobody said the IP "had" to be replaced. Just that it was replaced.
Doesn't really mean anything, imo. Look at all the misdiagnosed stuff out there. And shops that do the shotgun approach.

Well, they are DIRECTLY ON the ocean, so it's possible that's all from salt air. I would certainly be suspicious though, since that is a fair amount of rust on the engine.

Wow. A couple cool things I've never seen on a bull nose, a hood liner and a split fan shroud. Never knew either of those even existed

had both these on an 84 F250 with a 6.9 4spd , small rad w/o AC.

lots of people replace the injection pump because of fuel leaks at 30years old it was bound to leak with low sulfur diesel.
it might be a unicorn now, when it was built it was probably right off the lot.

I guess it makes sense on non a/c models ( above doesn't have it either) where you will be running the vents alot
