1989 f350 7.3 5 speed. 127k on it. Rotted to hell. Bought it for drivetrain. Paid 500 bucks. Been parked since 2013 for rust. Took 45 mins to get it going. F250 did good towing it home. Axles, tcase and trans are going into the f250 along with a bunch of other small stuff. Got it torn down in 4 hours pretty far. Cab coming off tomorrow.

We must just have a different definition of "rotted out from rust" up here in ND and MN
Other side looks like yours. Cab has no floor. Seat belts rotted off! Frame is paper thin and full of holes. Never pass inspection here. I will get frame photos today

lol I just did this on Friday. Pulled a 86 F350 4x4 cclb home with no motor just for the front axle. I feel the addiction!

But are the doors holding the roof up?
The second to last one I got, extended cab, the doors were prettymuch holding the roof up. Came with new lower extended cab panels, like they were going to do anything....I'm dreading removing the cab. It's nice when they come off in one piece

No, surprisingly the cab from rockers up was in good shape. But I didn't have to unbolt the rear seat to remove it....

I love how much light you have in your shop.
Nice work tearing it down, most people that would be a week of work

The lighting actually sucks. They are in all the wrong places. One day when I panel the ceiling I will move them to be better suited for my type of work. Best part is that's actually my attached garage. lol

Good idea on torching the support off the fenders, or the fenders off the support...ill hafta remember that one nxt time. Actually last support that came off will have to be fixed, best one I got.

Looks good. Def looks like 130k drivetrain
