Usable tire size

Aaaaarrrggg. You guys are killin me!! Lol

Well we gotta poke at the guys that like something different lol. I love my white factory 16" steel wheels. Well, except the right rear that's painted black with soot lol. I'm not a tire expert but from personal experience a taller side wall will ride better but the short side walls like newer trucks won't sway as much because they're stiffer

What I know I cleared and performed well on my truck with 355 gears and zf5 was my 33 inch bfg all terrains (before the level kit) It's a very happy medium sized tire, drove nice didn't make my gears too tall looked like a great size for a f350 stock hieght 4x4. I run my 315's now because I don't want to go back down in tire size and they are plentiful around here because we have lots of mud and tons of people who run 35's on everything just to say they have 35 inch mudd terrain tires and then off road then once with no clue what they are doing break the truck and keep the tires to sell after lol

The huge wheel thing is just a crossover from the gangsta scene. I'm just waiting for elbows from the slab scene to crossover as well. I won't disgrace this forum with a picture, but for those who don't know what elbows are...

I second the running right width wheels! I ruined many of tires in the past 0% tread in center with like 30%+ on the sides still but I buy used off Craigslist whenever a good deal strikes so not much is lost lol

Ran 35x12.50 SSR's on my 97 F-350 SRW reg cab on 16.5x9.75 wheels with front bumper shimmed a bit, no rubbing. 37's are no problem with a level

Running 38x12.50 Tsl's on my 87 with trimming of back portion of fender and front bumper, 3.5 back spaced 10" wheels. Stock height

(I think) Kubota's on coils in the OBS pictured above. My '90 f250 is on leaf springs, and that's where 35s rubbed if I turned too tight..
Looked fine, had much traction without digging ruts, worked great unless I forgot.
