so i have 4 wheel disc going on my truck w/ hydroboost.
im going to be running my own brake line here soon.
ABS will be deleted.

first question is, concerning the proportioning valve.
the one i have is stock for disc/drum.
do the f super dutys have rear disc?
if so, what years, i seem to recall it only being the later powerstroke years.

2nd, im deleting the ABS, well, because ill be using an aftermarket wiring harness.
and no computer or modules.
whats the best way to delete the tone ring sensor on the rear diff?

i will be running an aftermarket speedo also.

3rd question, whats the best place to purchase stainless steel front caliper lines?
i can only find the lines for 4-6" lift.

thanks folks!
youre a great help, even tho i pissed some of you off this morning! :D

all f-super duty (f-450) trucks came with 4 wheel disc brakes.1987-1997.as for the best way to deal with an abs/vss sensor....i would simply just leave it.you just wont plug anything into it.it will just serve the purpose of plugging the hole.no ones ever going to know it's there....save for us when you show us pics but we wont mind too much either lol.

Tried finding stainless lines for stock height, gave up since they are all for lifted trucks and they want wayy too mucj for them, some brake shops will make them for you, my local shop wanted $200 but I stuck with rubber for now...

i have a 25 foot roll of 3/16"

found 4-6" lift lines for 100$
may as well buy em and route them good enough to stay away from everything.
but i gotta get a proportioning valve first.

Mine doesn't have a proportioning valve? It's just the master cylinder. Why would you need a proportioning valve with a dual outlet master? Isn't it built in? I'm running the f super master with drums.

ive always ran one.
you need it to proportion inbetween the rear and the front.
even with masters with dual outlet have them.
usually i just get an adjustable one and adjust it myself.

you may wanna look into that Mike.
there on all stock trucks......

I took all the brake parts off. Put new back. Unless it's hiding in the RABS unit, I can tell you there wasnt one on the truck. I understand needing them on a single line split to all four but I would have thought the bias would have been built into the master. :dunno

With the divided outlet, where would you put a proportioning valve?

i think your RABS is actually a proportioning valve/sensor.
sorry no time to read, ill do it later.
the adjustable one is on hotrods and race cars,
it does the same but you can control it.
i dont want an adjustable one on mine, i want the correct non ABS disc/disc valve.
