So i was wondering what the rarest/scarcest IDI options combinations are. For instance, I have a '92 F350 CCLBSRW....i've seen a few (especially here..) not uncommon, but not everywhere either. Would the 5spd be rarer? I would imagine so.
What's the hardest to find/lowest production numbers version of the IDI Ford?

I feel the C350 could win but since it's a Centurion Conversion and not a Ford Factory product...does it count?

Not to say it isn't totally bad-assed...cause it is....

Thoughts?

centurion does not count.
if it did one could argue that I could be a part of FMC
a M1A1 replica is next on my list LOL

if you want to talk about lowest production numbers I would take a guess that the lowest production IDI's that were sold were nothing more than a cab and a chassis.

but it could be tied with OEM turbo engines.

Hmm, i thought it'd be the other way around...with the cab/chassis being plentiful because of the many uses for the platform...and the money made off of fleet contracts.
IDI Abrams...nice. They skills you got, I wouldn't doubt it. FMC should've made a 6 door SB F350...alot of guy's i've worked with on "Crew's" would take up so much space in a 4 door cab that you would need the extra row just to fit 5 people.
BTW, anybody ever tell you you look like Tony Hawk? I swear to god that's who I thought was in those pics you posted before I really had a chance to turn my brain on...

Hahah, I didn't mean any disrespect btw, for most of the late 80's I resembled a fat Frankie Hill....I was a big fan of the Powell Peratla crew. My first real board was the Steve Saiz with the indian dream catcher graphics...I loved that board, but agin like I said I was to fat to get off the ground...no Ollie's for me hahah...

Back to the trucks though, maybe paint job would be a big factor in scarcity, a truck that was slated for Fleet use but got a Lariat trim level 2-tone paint job maybe?
4x4 CC Dually's seem to be less common in my searches, but maybe that's regional....

4x4 Crew Cab Duallys with a Pickup Bed DID NOT EXIST from the factory in the pre 99 trucks. Ford did not make a 4x4 CC DRW PICKUP before the release of the 99+ F-350 Super Duty trucks.

If it has a pickup bed and is a 4x4 Crew Cab, it IS without any question a conversion of some sort. Either was a 4x4 CC SWR that had a dually axle installed, an aftermarket dually conversion kit (I.E. ArrowCraft) or it was a 2wd CC DRW that someone converted to 4x4.......

No, he is talking about an 87-97 F-Superduty Crew Cab. A 10 lug 14k lb truck.

However, if you look for a Ford Super Crew, ford did make a model called a Super Crew, but it is a 4 door, super short bed like 5ft something.....
