As it says, looking for a PTO with output shaft for a winch. May be interested in one with hyd pump but not likely. Shaft driven winch better...much more better:sly

May take a NP 203 PTO also,

EDIT...

Now maybe I don't know but perhaps they are side/direction specific...DOH

I need to be able to have shaft forward on RH/Pass side of trans, so I can power the PTO winch out front...Hmmm...now I'll have to find out if they are :confused:side/direction specific...Oh Towcat......:sly

On the contrary, it is very much for sale. What way does it spin? Idk. Can it be flipped? Yes... To the drivers side. Not sure about flipping on the passenger if the gear will still line up correctly. But in pretty sure I have a t-19 that's pto is on the drivers side so it might be "flip able" for a front exit pto.

I'd make a sweet cheap package deal on both PTOs and a #1 non ferret injection line.

you can flip it one side to another, but you will have to turn everything around.
Dana/Chelsea/Parker can be configured the easiest.
see pics.

What Calvin is referring to is the PTO arrangement, should be a Chelsea "5" on the drivers side, "3" arrangement on the passenger side.

Al, you are looking for a Chelsea 442. If you buy a blue PTO you are on your own (Muncie bad, Chelsea good)

Have a look at this link, should be a good starting point for you:

if you really want one, you'll pay whatever asking is for it. I have been for years. you are talking about a technically obsolete part. and no, the one in the pics is not for sale. sorry. i've been silent on this matter up until now due to the fact I don't want to tease or lead you on.

Not leading me on, I do understand obsolescence and such all too well I think newest truck here is 93 so ya...have never owned a vehicle newer than 20 years old... and I like it like that.

K I'll hunt around and see what I can come up with,

Suppose the Muncie could, work...but I'd need to toss some chains and sprockets at it to make it work for me is all...not something I WANT to do but could do...

you wouldn't be using a chain and sprocket, it would be more like a PTO shaft coming off the PTO and a pump mounted some distance away. bottom line is either is damgerous as hell if you are to have to work under the truck while it's running.

Nope...

Chains and shafts if I had to...I want SHAFT driven winch not hydraulic....

Thus I need the PTO output FORWARD....

May have to invest in one for an F350 BW 1356 transfer case instead....Hmm...

you have some serious work ahead of you then. most modern PTO systems are hydraulic and is rearward facing. your first obstacle you will run into on a forward facing system on the driver's side with chain drive is the trans bell housing and the hydraulic slave cylinder. on the passenger side you will have the starter to deal with.
