Well seeing that you put it that way then sure..:sly:D Your are a far better tool with the extension to the handle. A member that just used my meter on his van couldn't make the wrench fit so I allowed him to cut off whatever was needed to use it. So now I have a factory tool. 2 aftermarket tools and one short van style aftermarket tool for turning the pumps...:hail

My pump did not want to turn with that sucker. Used a breaker bar between valley and top of pump to move and hold it. did da trick.

When a pump resists turning simpley loosen as many hard lines at the back of the pump. That relieves plenty of strian the lines put on the pump. Its a silly design to force a pump thats mounted hard by the lines to move.

There is a square boss on the top of the pump front that fits a 3/4" wrench perfectly; is this not enough? I had no problems moving mine.

Its so cool that one day I will be that old guy who bought all the tools for these cool old engines and be able to pass them on to someone who can carry it on

Oh yeah!!!.... Mine work all over the country.. So there... Big catcher...;pLOL For those that hve not used one of these wrenches heres the history of them. Jason was out here is so cali a few years ago on business. So knuckledragger and I met at a famous restarant for dinner. I showed him the factory wrench and asked if he could make a better one with an extension for better leverage on tuff to turn pumps. Sure nuf did. They are a very nive upgraded wrench for timing these engines. As per the post by Russ. I sure as heck wont pay $139.00 for something that I can use thats better in many differant ways for $40.00. Throwing good money after a bad economical idea is silly. Bottom line is Jason makes a fine tool and not all pumps have the square place that a 3/4 inch wrench will fit. Not have this wrench when you need it.. Well its not a nice outcome.

I would pay $45.00 for this but surely not what the seller is asking. It may well have cost that new from rotunda but its not a high use item unless your timing a DB2 equipted engine. We have a member here that makes the tool found in my timing meter rental box. Everybody knows that tool works great and is well made on a plasma table.

My cousin in law is machining one of these wrenches up for me. If you would like one, I'll have him make two.
