Well its time for me to update this thread. I connected one repaired meter and I was able to check my timing on my truck. So I tried another repaired meter but got a very low degree reading. So I tested all 5 repaired meters. Some would not work. Connect the meters. Press the lower rocker switch and see the digital readings change to all zeros. then the degree reading changed to -20 but the rpm works fine. So I try other magnetic probes and nothing works. Not even the first meter I tsted will reply the same readings even with the smae magnetic probe. I was using number one cylinder hard line and that has always given me trouble so I will try using number 4 cylinder. I took apart on of the repaired meters and found the repair in the same condition I fixed it. So I have more work ahead of me in testing. Sorry for the not so good news but I'm still working on this. I have severl other metrs and can be opened up and hopefully repaired better than what I just did. Damn humidty here today is going up to 98%.. I so hate humidity. It feels like the world is pressing down on my shoulders.
