I know the glowshift aren't considered High end gages, but I've been looking at those 3in1 also. The one I was looking at did Boost, EGT and Water temp for $175.

I'm installing a set in my buddies truck, prices are real reasonable.

Here is a link to the Pyro i run. They're pretty cheap and i've been extremely happy with mine. I run a different probe than the one they show though.

Cheap pyro

This is the boost gauge i ran when i had my mercedes. Seemed to be accurate. I wasn't running much boost though so i never really pushed the limits of the gauge. Its actually not as cheap as i remember it being.

Im planning on ordering that 3in1 next week, Egt, boost and fuel pressure. Going to run a dedicated ground to the batter and solder all connections. Most of the issues seem to be bad grounds with those gauges.

EDIT: Also I've heard wiring in a 12v regulator can solve some problems too, they dont like the voltage fluctuations when the glow plugs cycle. I think the regulator can be found at Radio Shack for about $5

known of a few guys running glowshifts and out of about 20 gauges I have only heard of one being bad and it was swapped out by glowshift within a few phone calls. grounds are a severe issue on any gauges. the only complaint I have heard about them is that the 3 in 1 is hard to read at a glance.

Not bad!! The previous boat my Scout unit had had those gauges, but only one (out of four) of the thermocouples was any good. I always wondered how it would be on an engine with happy thermocouples on an on-road vehicle :D
