so where do I find this KEN, If he has the turbo upgrade and down pipe I think I will take a chance

Search DPS performance and you will find the site. I know he has a rep for shady dealings. The only reason I suggest DPS is that supposedly he has some 093 turbo upgrades, and those are near impossible to find today. I have never done business w/ Ken though.

Someday when I tear my engine down for some upgrades I would like to take some time and do some R&D to see what might be available to bolt right to the 093 up pipe T3 flange. I would think that there has to be something that would work out there with a little custom fab.

Why do business with people who have a reputation for shafting others? This is the byproduct of the information age, with all the sites that specialize in providing reviews for services, there's no excuse for getting shafted anymore.

Same here. I am not going to toss Ken/DPS under the bus, because I have had no dealings with him. When it came time to buy injectors I went off the recommendations of the members on this forum. There's been more than a few who have had ill dealings with DPS. There's been more than a few who have had good dealings with Russ (typ4)

I bought injectors from Russ. They showed up when he said they would show up, with a top quality return line kit. They all worked as promised. When I broke one, Russ took care of it... I'm not trying to butter the guy up, I've never met him personally. I know he offers mods for the ATS turbos, as well as cams and injectors. He stands by what he sells and he gives you a fair price.

I have a long list of companies/people who have jacked me over in the past, and I won't do business with them again. Simple as that. Worse yet, when people come to me and ask my opinion on things like "where should I take my truck to get the A/C fixed?" I steer them towards shops I trust. It's not just the shop owner's reputation on the line, but mine as well...

The mind set of this group is very much as traditional as the old trucks we drive. We believe in seeing the good guy win, the old practice of supporting stand-up businesses and walking away from crooks.

Factory Cummins use a T3, therefore most upgrade turbos for the Cummins should fit with a little fab to oil return and cold side plumbing. I just picked up an 093 kit minus turbo to do this with.

I will look forward to seeing this.

Shouldnt be too long before I get it together, need some silicone boots is about all left, hoping it will fit with the intake hat I got from Russ. Will be using an HX35 to start since I already have one and work up from there.

Edit: Along with this to prevent overspooling the 12cm housing on the HX35. Although I dont think that wastegate mount will work, Ill end up welding a mount into the crossover pipe it looks like.

Hairyboxnoogle over at FTE is running a Hx35 on his truck and it works extremely well. Plus those turbos are good to about 400hp but at that power level egts will be pretty high. The max I would go with that turbo would be about 350 hp. What is your target boost Hyde?

That wastegate is 14psi, once I'm studded will up it to 20 and intercool it.

Nice, that should make decent power. What are you doing for fuel mods?

Also I just saw you live in Idaho. Did you just move there and what town do you live in? I just picked my idi up from Twin Falls and brought it back to San Diego. My family still lives there though.

St Maries is where I'm at, in the panhandle. Been here a while. As for fueling I'm sure I have enough now to max the capabilities of the HX35, fuels very hard for just a stock pump with a few flats.

Ya you definitely live a bit north. Lol. And that setup should work out well for you. I look forward to the install pics.
