55 is decent. Only diff is spade vs bullet connectors, maybe controllers too but all those years use the later 7.3 one anyway

Yes....without a doubt yes. 1983 - 1986 had the spade connectors for the 6.9 engines.

From what I understand and read before, some 1987's had 6.9's in them, but they had the ZD9 GP's with the bullet connectors like the 7.3's had.

For that price, if you DON'T buy it I am going to have to come down there and kick yo in the ****!! That is a GREAT price!

Come on down! I would enjoy meeting you, to thank you for sharing your knowledge here, and share a beer or two.

Also, I make it a policy to always partake of a bargain BEFORE offering it to the rest of youse guys. Guess how many fuel filters I bought.

I think I can get 20-25 more years out of my IDIs, so I'm always looking for deals on spare parts.

BTW, today was the usual. Brilliant blue skies, 74 degrees, BBQ chicken, laying out by the pool, and watching a beautiful orange and pink sunset. How's that Great White North thing working for ya?:rotflmao

LOL...I got a WICKED sunburn yesterday.....but that was from the big stick welder :rotflmao!!!

The weather up here hs been unusual this year...more so than other years. We got a PILE of snow this winter, and the temperatures have been going up and down like crazy.

Yesterday was t shirt weather...50*F and it looks to be about the same today. I might get some work done around the yard and to the truck.

I know whatcha mean by keepin an IDI running for a LONG time!!! I just bought a crew cab long box gasser that's in REAL good shape. I am tearing it apart, dropping a turbo IDI in there and slapping my dana 60, diesel ZF and the rest of my F250's drivetrain in her....but it's ALL going to be rebuilt first!!!
