Just be patient on the DT search. Most of the ebay sellers want too much in my opinion. Also, keep an eye on craigslist for a deal. The DT466C is the main sereies used by tractor pullers and there really is a ton of stuff out there.

That's between '88-'93 right?

-Jon

DT466A 75-77
DT466B 78-82
DT466C 83-93 (after 88 IIRC, they had roller lifters and inline IP's).
DT466P (or NGD) 93-95 (could find some as late at 97 in certain apps) P-pumped and integral Intake/valve cover.
DT466E 96 to present with different upgrade along the way. HEUI injection (like the PSD).
;Sweet

I have a 210HP 93 DT466C. Per the serial number, this motor was aftercooled from the factory.

Opps, I forgot a photo of the sweet valve cover I'm going to put on the DT466. The one in the photo is Brad's, but he has a buddy that makes them, and I'll be getting one when the time is right. All aluminum, more clearence, and stronger than the stamped steel stock cover.-Drool

It will polish up to a nice shine pretty easy and will allow larger valve lift with a more aggressive cam as well.

Pay return postage both ways, and I will handle that. Not a paid vendor here, but PM me for details, facebook link.. would be proud to do that cover... Mail order Polishing is the direction I want to see my business go, and I am offering "advertising polishing" to a select few.. you are the third...

Obsolutely!!!;Sweet I just haven't bought one yet. When I do, I will sent it your way. Ever do compressor housings? Something I thought about doing to the turbo's prior to install. I would like it to look as good as it runs when it is all said and done. I'm sure more that one person will want to look under the hood and see what the heck is in there.LOL I'll shoot you a PM.

Jon, that crew cab IH would be a great home for a DT diesel.:hail:love: The more I think about this project, the more I wish I could get it started. But, I still need to finish the crew cab 1st. Right now it's all just planning and parts gathering.

Love the 6.9 powered scout.
