Anyone Know the part number for the glow plug controller for my truck? I can't view the site with out silver light, and only have phone internet access until we get into tge new house.I'm afraid im going to miss out on this but I really need this part, mine is sticking.

oh, being from a box truxk all IP's will be governed for 2850 instead of 3300, that will be a promel for me anyway. i think a governor spring swap will be in my future

The motor in my old 89 diesel was out of a Uhaul F350, a 91 to be exact and it was NOT governed at 2800.

i ordered two sets too. I'm not afraid to run whatever uhaul was using. I was around them many years ago as we rented them out through our store. I can't imagine a company using a part in their rental vehicles that would give problems. these things needed to be reliable. I do remember the first time i saw pink coolant in them i was like

The only experience I have with U-haul trucks is I rented one to help my brother move. It was a F350 IDI box truck. It was a dog. It had a hard time doing 55mph empty! It's the truck that made me afraid to buy an IDI powered Ford. Luckily I got over that.

Well I guess I'll run them and see what happens. Can't be any worse then my non functioning ones now.

Anything is possible. I didn't order an IP ( didn't have the cash ) . So I just need to worry about the GP's being crap!

Did the F-Super Duties have a higher rev limit? The day I drove mine home, before I knew any better, it had no problem revving to 4,000 rpm.

Maybe the F-Super Duties had a higher rev limit due to the 5.13 gears?
