Idont do injectors
Brown wires are for the Glowplugs(oustide wires on each plug) inside wires are for the injectors.
I took the valve covers off this morning.. Wasn't as hard as I've heard.
#1 and #2 don't spit out as much oil as the others and #7 doesn't spit out any at all.
What kind of a job is it, to swap out the #7 injector? I have a spare AA in the garage and could try just swapping. The A/C box looks like it'll be impossible to get the injector out..
Do I have to worry about fuel/oil leaking into the cylinder, from the fuel rail?
Gary if #7 won't clear the AC box. you can remove the top of the injector(4 torx screws) that will give you enough room to get it out.
You might want to look into some new injectors or rebuild the ones you have.
on the earlly 94 the vac tank is one piece, so you need to remove the selonoid
the seloniod screws are t-15 plus, but usually a t-15 will work.
Don't be surprised if it still runs ruff every now and again for a few days(until all the air is out of the system).

regarding burnt UVC..it seems the GP's that are located on the outermost pins are easy candidates for burning.
