You'll feel that way for about 5 minutes. Any longer, and it's your own fault. ;Sweet We usually have an intro on the first night, everybody around the fire tells who they are, where they are from, what they drive, how they found the site, and anything else of interest they wish to share.

dude, if you have the ability to make it, you can't let anything get in the way. I have never met anyone here in person either, but just chiming in on these forums kinda breaks the ice a little to start with. Like Mel said, you'll be talking about something in 5 min flat. I have a gut feeling this is a good bunch of guys, this vacation is cheap, good fun, something we all need in this day and age. I hope to see your old rusty diesel there.

i'm not a outspokin

I'm not either, hard to tell here, I know, but I've never felt so comfortable around a group of people...EVER! Make it, you'll be fine, you'll be glad you did and you'll be treated like family, just as many were before and after myself, this group is a great bunch, you'll only be sorry if you don't go! :)

Bring him along - trust us he will be welcomed and will probably want to come back next year more than you - I have seen it with wives - mine included... drug her to the first one almost kicking and screaming. The event is about the people as much as the trucks and in some cases more so about the people.

Cool. Surely you guys can come. If you have a tent, just tent camp there. You'll never want to go back to the Hotel once to get there.:D I pitching a tent in an RV site so I can have H20 and electric.

If we can work it out, we'll convoy together from Ky to IL.;Sweet

The campground will have public facilities, and tent campers are the ones who use them mostly, so it is a required feature a host looks for when choosing a campground. The women are really the ones who speak volumes about how much fun these events are. I think most of the guys who attend regularly would see their wives turn into Lorena Bobbitt if they were to announce the were NOT coming for some reason. ;Really

I would love to come and meet everyone! But i don't think i'll make it this year. It's 3,704 mile's to drive:eek:

So thats
3,704miles divided by 19mpg= that around 194 gallons :D

so if diesel is $4.00 a gallon thats
4.00 X 194=$776 just for diesel:eek:

It would cost me 1,500 easy. i cant do that this year but hey there's always next year;Sweet

So hows my math?:dunno :D

An airplane ticket and rental car might be cheaper. You'd still be welcome even if you can't bring your truck.
