Based on this post, looks like he sold it back to the guy he bought it from. I'm still amazed that punkmechanic put up with him as long as he did!

Back to the subject at hand, Sean, did you get the right flywheel bolts yet?

haha yea there for a while I was calling you like every 2 or 3 hours a couple weeks ago. Atleast lately its been down to one or two calls a day with a couple days in between.

I got some bolts that are almost 3/4" longer hopefully they work.

Clutch and flywheel are on! CAT flywheel bolts were just a tad long for my taste so I doubled up washers on them just to be sure they wouldn't interfere with anything on the rear main cap.
Got my custom drive shaft done today. Didn't want to have a repeat of another unnamed members misfortune so I even had it built with a thicker tougher tubing.

you must lead a real boring life at the dog pound.:D:rotflmao:rotflmao:rotflmao
if nothing else it will slow him down on his daily phone calls.
i wouldn't want it any other way though;Sweet
but he can keep his long distance bill though.....

Being stuck in the office doing admin work sucks but my "Supe" is out this week and me being next in command forces me to spend more "quality" time in the office than cruisin the streets.
So I gotta have my fun somehow.;Really

Besides when I call either you or Mel, y'all seem to not be wearing clothes.

Engine is IN!

Well after all the problems over the weekend I didn't post any pictures from then but they'll be included here.
But anyway the engine is FINALLY in the truck!
I think I screwed my brand new $80 oil feed line to the turbo though. Damn engine decided to set back against the cab and it crushed it. It's a stainless braided poly plastic line so I'd imagine its completely screwed. Not sure why it did what it did, even with the cab jacked up 6".
The cab moved sideways about 3" when the engine crashed into it.
There's a pic of the radiator support and my custom hood latch. Had to skinny it up to fit the intercooler in front of it.
But anyway here's the pics.

Somehow I must have missed or forgot the part of you stuffing a ZF5 in there;Sweet

Just watch now. Whenever you get on the freeway the truck will get all full of beans and try to take off on you. A turbo 6.9 coupled to an overdrive tranny demands a lot of discipline. Make sure it knows who is the alpha male or they can be a real handfull:sly

Yep ZF5 and a 1356 to finish the 4wd conversion. hehe
It's supposed to start snowing here on saturday. So I'm hoping to get this thing finished by then. Luckily my professors have been really lenient on the homework thus far this week.
