Bottom line for me is that the veggie oil is nicer to work with than the WMO. I now have enough WVO to not need to do WMO or WTO. When I filter my veggie if I get it on my hands it's not a half hour washing experience and I don't get nauseous from the smell of the oil. If I ran out of WVO I would certainly burn WTO/ATF then WMO if need be.

Just different philosophies.

cookoo Another reason not to mess with WMO.
I'm sure the poor souls who have driven behind you on that crap just loved breathing that exhaust.

In a finely tuned vehicle (such as mine) it really doesn't smoke. The smell is a bit more petroleum like, but seriously it doesn't belch smoke like you think it would. And I'm talking about WMO - on ATF the difference between it and #2 is barely distinguishable, except for a sweeter smell - thats the best I can describe. I played with my IP a bit to get it to where it wouldn't smoke much on WMO and never bothered retarding the ignition again when I switched to WVO - probably should...

Eric...funny thing is, my mental picture of you driving on that crap is a thick black trail of smoke like a belching coal furnace. LOL
