BTW, Heath that dog is a monster! He's got to be over 6 feet long!

He's tall, even for the average Dane. But, He's a really good dog. My 19 month old daughter loves playing with him. He'll be at the Rally this year as our unoffical mascot.

Dog person here. I need a Wolfie pic in my truck. She loves to ride, but squeezes as close to me as possible and likes to step on my gauges and wires. I like having her with me but she can be difficult. Cats are ok too, better if you don't have much time to devote to a pet. They don't NEED you like a dog does. They chose to let you think they're your pets.

Sounds about right :D

I like the independent nature of cats...I guess they fit my personality better. Besides, I had a traumatic experience with a dog when I was young...so I'm afraid enough of them that I cannot live in the same house with a dog...

I have a comic on my refrigerator that says "I have been told that the training procedure with cats was difficult. It's not. Mine had me trained in two days." :D

By the way, since this is more of a general "cat thread" now, I may as well post a couple pictures of Felix, my other baby :) I've had Felix since he was 6 weeks old (he's 13 now), and he's been pretty well attached to me the whole time...whereas Jazzie is more attached to Mom. Unfortunately, my landlord won't let me have pets and I can't afford to find an apartment that will allow pets, so they're both living with my mom for the time being. I miss my babies so much!

All of the pictures and stories (except the Remington comments ;p ) are wonderful, I think!! Thank you all for sharing :) BTW, looks like Jazzie's procedure went well...although it's still too soon to tell whether the thyroid was permanently fixed or not. He'll be glowing in the dark for the next month, and he's still in isolation until Monday...

The only medical procedure I'd pay for on a cat, is the afore mentioned, lead injection therapy. :shoot:
