I don't exactly consider rockwells with 6.72s & 49s a street truck, don't matter what is at the heart of the thing...LOL

LOL I was kinda thinking the same. Its definatly not the most streetable setup ever, but I guess you can still go down the road ;Sweet :D

I think I remember him saying it could to 65 MPH. My truck topped out at 75 stock with C6 and 4.10s turning stock tires. Not out of line IMO.

Nope mine be Camo and much bigger. I do know him he is one of the only people with my last name around that is not related to me. We were pulling in Dinwidde , VA. Have been to Morgan Corner before they told me nogo from the moment I got to the gate said drivetrain had to be 1 ton or less, this was the first time I have been to this dudes place. Thats why I figured I could squeak by he had no rule about the 1 ton drivetrain.

Just goes to show horsepower doesn't mean anything if you can't get it to the ground. Good job! ;Sweet

amen to that! its amazing what an old JD A or B will pull when put up against some larger tractors...

good example is there is a guy that pulls modified farm tractors with a punched out 396 9about 500 cubes now) in a modified international and my buddy out pulled him with his own tractor cause he knew how to work it better then the owner...man was the guy ticked off...my buddy is banned from driving the guys tractor now hahahaha

Do the rules not say something about the way the steering is setup on that? Do you have a ram or do you have a mechanical linkage between the two?

No his rules were simple it must be street legal that was it. Now he is going to use the NTPA rules where it must be axles available in a 1 ton truck, transfer case and a few other things. He said they just never had anything like that before come to pull since it was street legal he was not going to say no unless someone made an issue about it. They laughed and talked **** and then we had the pull and they were sore losers period. He said I can still pull in the modified or exhibition class. Mods maybe we will see. Oh and my hitch is way to high said it gives a unfair advantage.
