ya know i saw that white faced gauge kit on e-bay for my ranger and wasn't sure it'd look good split up like they are, but seeing thtat it looks badass! ;Sweet how hard was it to install (IE: removing the needles)?

Not overly hard---the important thing is to take a very close picture of each dial
with the ign on before removing the needles! Even doing that I still had to go back and tweak them.
I got the reverse blue/white--white in daylight and blue backlighted. The kit comes self illuminated with it's own transformer and dimmer.
clicky here

Be aware of making sure it is for a diesel as the tach, fuel indicator are engine specific!

do they make 4 and five pillar pods for the 97 fords?

sadly no...3 is the best you will find. Many are generic but there are a couple that are a direct replacement that correctly aligns the dash and roof trim.
clicky link

I also got the two single colum mounted cups there.
refreshed pic....

that's funny because i looked on auto meters site and couldn't find anything.

so do you paint them to match the ford grey or are some of them pre dipped in the gray color? I have a two pod one that is gray and matches very well. It was color matched at the point of production for sure.
