Nice looking truck for a ferd!!! :rotflmao :rotflmao

Honestly, I like mine now that I have worked all the bugs out, and have thought about a newer Ford as well, so who knows what I'll be driving in a year!

Nice looking truck. The ride height has attitude. ;Sweet

As for towing with it? Put it this way. Many people all
over North America tow successfully with lifted trucks.
So it'll work just fine for you. Ignore those comments.

I agree with the argument you can tow with it, just have to adjust for the height. That said, I would rather not do it, but I like the way it looks. I guess for me, I would have to decide how much of it's use would be "hooked" and how much unhooked. If you were towing all the time, that might change my opinion, but the occaisional hook and go and you should be good to go.

Hehe..... :D So.... I'm lovin' the new truck, of course!!!! I also took some more pictures of it in the daylight..... As you'll be able to see it needs some paint, which it will be getting here shortly, still undecided on what exactly I'll do with it.... and then it will be getting some stacks!!!    Anyways, here are some pics.... and I am going to look at how my schedule is and see if I can't make it up there for the IDI weekend, it would be a ton of fun...... ;Sweet

That's really nice, I'd say that's a smokin deal for 4500 unless it has some big problems that we don't know about. Body and paint look fine to me but you gotta do what makes you happy. It seems people that play with horses have nicer trucks than those of us who play around salt water and haul firewood...wonder why ;).

The front springs I have for my brown truck's 4x4 conversion are exactly like that! But I didnt get blocks like that with them. I did get to see what the rear springs looked like on the truck all my parts are from and they were HUGE, atleast 8 leafers probably 10, and they were arched like all get out. I just dont understand how they could have been running with lift springs like that without the extended drop links in the middle. I'd really like to turn the look of my truck around, and lift it like that. I've already got the springs for it, but where do I get the drop links and make sure they work with my springs? I have some aftermarket blocks that are for a rear axle, if they will work on the front, I'll use them. What do you guys think?

All I know is that I am loving the lift on this truck!
