Does anyone know the size of the turbo outlet on the newer gen sidewinder? I need to order a new coupler from the outlet to the intake hat. Mine is not sealing at all anymore i think it's just old and maybe shrunk a little but no matter how I put it on it doesn't seal right. I'd go back out and measure it but I just got it all back together and it's almost 11pm.

Banks only had one wastegated side winder turbo. So tired of the wrong info on here. It’s 2.25 or 2.5. I’m not sure. Best to measure your self.

They made three revisions of the turbo kit my guy, besides how would you know, its not a stock Ford part.
Weren’t most of those versions non gated? I could be wrong, but his suggestion about only one version being wastegated actually sounds right.

@Archieb89, I don’t specifically know the size, but if you call Banks on this one, the part number is 94507.

List number 51 in the link below.

Both first versions were non gated, as far as I know the only difference was the air filter box design and how it attaches to the intake, the last design was gated.

I ripped it apart this morning before work and put a tape measure. I measured 2.25 ID about also the intake hat inlet measured about the same. So I just ordered one that size off Amazon. Forgot to measure the length so I just got a 4 inch one and I'll cut off what I need..

I've got the wastegated one. But its that blue hump connector between the hat and the compressor outlet. I dont know if it's so old that it shrunk or what. but I after I disassembled everything to do the intake hat gasket it just doesn't seem to be long enough now no matter how I put it on. It just sounds like it queefing and it just won't build boost

You have the newer one brother, typically any hose should work, just dont get silicone. With the crankcase breather returning oils to the inlet, it'll cause any silicone hose to swell.

Do you think just a piece of radiator hose that size would be ok? I can't seem to find any couplers that aren't silicone

You can try it as long as it is oil resistant.

The part you need is "hose hump air intake part# 94507"

Man, the breakdown list is hard to find... Since its a newer banks kit you could try contacting them if they offer it still.
