Does anyone make a Y pipe for these? I had to cut the pipes off my manifolds when I pulled the engine and will need a new one

I actually just found a Dynomax Y and intermediate pipe on Rock Auto, should be the same one that comes in the kit right?

I have the Dynomax 19430 on my truck. Installed it a month or so ago. The Y-pipe isn't much bigger than stock, the passenger side pipe is still a pretty drastic T shape, but the bends are miles ahead of stock. I can't attest to mileage gains, because I only had the truck about a week before I did it. But the power is far better. I'm in Central Indiana and I'm pretty sure I still have the stock Y pipe, if you need it.

I have an oem y pipe with 45k original miles. It is in very good condition if you are interested. I got the dynomax complete exhaust for my truck, and i like it, but couldnt bear to scrap that y pipe. I am hanging on to it just in case but if you need it ill part with it cheap.

Was this with an NA motor setup? Looking to up my size from stock if it’s any better

Guy hasn't been online since 2019.
Just dont trust us that the stock y pipe is good for a stock 6.9?

No I trust you that the stock pipe is good for NA 6.9. :)

I’m just asking to see if larger, exhaust will improve the performance or not. He claimed he noticed improvements with the bigger exhaust.

I put my Hypermax 3.5” exhaust on before I turbo’d my 91. No noticeable difference between that and stock, the exhaust note got deeper but that was all really… just my experience though, others may have different experiences. My truck weighs over 15k so keep that in mind, it’s practically always under load.

If you want performance, best bang for the buck is a turbo kit

I have to testify I wish I had turboed years prior to when I had. Even wastegated it really wakes these engines up.
