It seems as if the TPS sensors are getting harder to find, especially the sensor alone without the entire pedal assembly.

Does anyone have a source for Motorcraft sensors? The dealer can't even get them here without buying the entire pedal assembly, and that ain't cheap. $760Cad.

what makes you think something is wrong with your TPS? They rarely fail and most times it's misdiagnosed as the TPS when the culprit is the IVS

On this particular truck, there is a consistent dead spot at about 1/3 throttle; and at startup warm or cold, about 1 second after the engine fires, the idle bumps up by about 100rpm to 750 or so from 650 where they usually seem to run at. So those are the two symptoms.
Yea it may be the IVS....just was curious as to where to source TPS for either this event or future events.

What are your ICP readings at idle and at 1/3 throttle? Any oil in the ICP sensor?

I've had several of these with high km/miles and never had any problems with the TPS. ok once but it was actually mud jamming the pedal from coming back . I keep 2 used spares just incase but they are probably seized now from sitting on the shelf. have you removed it and cleaned it yet?
