Do not use the autozone STP S3766 oil filter.
They have the correct part number and packaging, as well as the correct product in their pictures online.
The part in the box (with part number S3766 sticker attached) is the WRONG PART. ALL parts on the shelf were like this. The mounting surface to the block is visually different, I just chalked it up to brand differences like a dumb*ss
I trusted auto zone on this (for some reason....) and my truck puked all 10 quarts in about 2 seconds out of a gap caused by the threads. I’d be out an engine if it wasn’t for my friend.
Wix filter screwed on perfectly right after this whole issue so it’s not my truck, or a stuck gasket.
I dont have a pic of the threads currently, will post that by the end of the day.
