'90 CC Dually clutch master cyl question??

So I poked round some in the tec articles but didn't find much, too much other stuff I'm trying to get done & time is tight in my world rite now. So I thought I'd take a shortcut & ask here.

'90 CC....About 12-15 yr ago I did the clutch heim joint mod & firewall brace etc. I got something going on with my clutch now. Clutch master cyl keeps leaking & I plan to pull it in the next few days & fix/replace/repair it.

My questions: If I undo the heim joint, then remove the master cyl will the master cyl rod come on out thru the firewall? Also is the rod removable from the master cyl?

Give it a good tug and it should pop right out of the master cylinder. I know mine did.

Thanks. I've never pulled one before, but will soon. When I did my heim jt mod I wiggled up under dash & did it all.
For that matter come to think of it though, when I did all that mod I also replaced the aluminum thingie the peddles & column attach to. It was near wore out. Humm, I had forgot!! Kind'a not an easy job as I recall!
