Around about cost?

Im getting my truck aligned tomorrow and im thinking about having the upper and lower ball joints replaced.
Can anyone one here give me a low ball and high ball of what it should end up costing me?

Rust is why, most the time these Texas trucks arent bad, but sometimes Ill get an out of state truck and one ball joint will take as long as the whole job on a rust free truck, without seeing your truck in person its hard to give an estimate because I dont know what kind of shape your truck is in.

Its clean enough to eat off of man.
Ill tell them just to check the joints and let me know. The shop i use is pretty cool about informing me on stuff i ask them to before they touch it.

Nice, most the time you know when a ball joint is going out, these twin beam 2wd front ends drive real wonky when one is bad. I imagine if you havent noticed anything unusual they are likely fine

Well my driverside front tire cambers out at the top of the tire enough to see with the eye that its not right and the passenger side does the same but not as much. I haven't had any accidents with the truck since i bought it years ago so i dont know why its doing this. This wasnt a problem until recently before i replaced all of my steering geer up to the pitman arm. But since i have replaced all of those parts the steering wheel is all out of whack wich was expected so while its getting aligned i want the camber problem fixed as well.

I just went out and jacked the front end up. Wheel bearing play is solid and less than 3k on new wheel bearings so i dont think thats my camber problem.

That’s just how these 2wd ttb fords sit. My 83 is like that and everything is good up front. Tire barn out here was telling me about a place that will bend the beams to fix the camber but my tires wore evenly, just gotta rotate

I agree because my tires did not always sit like this. Maybe a tad bit but not like it sits mysteriously out of camber at the moment.

Hey i forgot to mention i replaced the front coil springs along with my shocks.
Can new coil springs change my camber?
They were acdelco oem replacements.

Yes, and the camber can be adjusted for with the cams, they can put in a 2 or 3 degree cam in if needed. Shouldn’t be an issue

Ok now it makes sense. New springs can and will change the camber because they are stiffer than the old, tired springs. I was going to mention that earlier but figured you would have mentioned it if you'd changed them, haha.
I've heard a few guys talk about how new leafs will "break in" or basically be less extreme in the positive camber after a week or two. But I dunno about coils.
As for the fix there are static or adjustable camber bushings. Bending the beams would probably be a lot more expensive and more for like a big lift or something. Unless they can do it without removing them from the pickup, I would think.

Sagging springs will make the camber look right but I’ve always seen new/good springs on 2wd’s look like what you’re describing
