Faint high pitch sound from IP

What does it mean, if you have a high pitch sound, not very loud, coming from your injector pump?

IP shouldn’t make any noises. Take the top cover off and see if you see any corrosion or coloration in the pump, you can post a pic if you like. You may have a thrust bearing failure immenent, maybe take the accessory belts off and see if the noise remains.
