How much to build me a good strong IDI with head studs ?
Any other Mods you recommend?

6.9 or 7.3? How much power do you plan on making? Are you supplying the builder engine or starting with one of my cores? That will determine the cost.

All my engines get 6.9 gaskets with the coolant mods, the 6.9 vakve seals and oil cooler lapped on the block and headers. As far as mods it really depends on what you want. I really like building the factory turbo engines, and doing a good amount of porting in the exhaust.

I probably should get away from that garrett stock turbo and go with a Banks huh ? I dint need to race i just want good pullig power for a 24-26 ft camper trailer

The banks is a smaller turbo than the Garrett iirc. Right now I’m really liking the precision 6262 with the .88 t3 housing as an upgrade from the stock turbo. My 350hp package uses a na block, studs, 910s, exhaust porting and the mods I already mentioned. I can set you up with just the longblock or a turn key engine with fuel system and turbo setup.

I have a waiting list for engine builds that goes up to January at the moment, so if you are interested shoot me a pm and we can work out the details.

Right down the road from you in Coarsegold. I’d be glad to meet up and be of what help I can. Mostly tech and a quick look I guess. I work in San Jose. Home 1.5 days a week. Have 2 trucks apart now one of which is my wife’s daily driver. If I started something else you would see the results on the news! You been in Oakhurst long?
