I think you're going where noone has gone before....
seriously tho, if the mounting pattern is the same, you shouldn't have any problems and that's something that is pretty standard for all makes.

Hmmm, never researched that one actually. Every presuperduty ford married transfer case has the same bolt pattern and spline count. I'll look around.

No, different number of splines (24) on the 6 speed than the other transmissions (31).

One other note, the transfer case for the 6 speed does not have speedometer hookup, so if the truck is a 91 or older, then you will need to change to an electronic speedometer.

That's no good. Bone yards are looking at around 1100-1400 for a 4x4 ZF6 with over 100,000 miles then top it off with 400-500 for the transfer case. The guys running a T19 or C6 are better off getting a gearvender for that amount of money.
