Hey I could use a little advice, my wiring to the dome has corrosion and I tried splicing to fix but only found that another wire broke in the housing somewhere... It's the wires that run through the sides and behind the seat. What is the recommended fix? My map lights turn on when door opens and buzzer when dome manually turned on when door open. Dome doesn't turn on anymore by doorjamb switch. They were soaking in mud under the vinyl floor mat. Owned the truck a month now. I also need to know about replacing the airbag, looks like someone opened the steering wheel and blew the bag, what all needs to be replaced in it? I hear some vehicles need all sensors replaced.

a little introduction, or at least some more information on your truck would be helpful
as far as the airbag, I don't replace them, I've been known to remove them from my vehicles, other than that, go to a wrecker and get a new bag assembly
follow the wires as far as possible and replace on the dome light
