If the sensor is after the turbo, then it's gettin close, if after add 200*.

Trusting theprobe is about the most important statement made here yet.... Location is also very important. A probe must be between the exhaust manifolds and the hot side of the turbo. Then I personally wont run any higher than 1050degrees. That gives me some room for mistakes. If you have the probe in the outlet after the turbo hot side and see 1050 degrees your too hot. If your not running a turbo the farther back in the exhaust manifolds will give a better true temp. At the number 8 position your seeing all the cylinders on that side of the engine combined. That is the location most here choose for that reason. It will not matter what cocktail you run for fuel. Its the temp your concerned with and where its taken....

Normally I am running a steady 300. On a hill if I get on it, I go to 600, empty. I weigh 7600 lbs empty according to the local dump scale, with my big-ass cap.
