Also. Can a veteran help me identify some of the objects I found under the CDR?
The spring looks important! The other thing is an apricot pit.

Clean the screen and place it back on the intake port. You don't need junk and bolts in the intake manifold. Cheap insurance!

Oh and the coolant? It doesn't look too bad. No oil. I wil test strip it this morning as soon as NAPA opens.

FYI.
readers have no clue of what youre working on without atleast a vague description.

I am working on a 1993 F250 XLT 7.3 idi with 340,500 miles. It has sat for a few months. I am reading everything I can about being a newbie here. So much information to go over. I'm just happy that it starts. And it made it to the house. I want to give it the proper care and respect that it deserves.

Here is my plan. Any advise is appreciated.
1.Dump the coolant. Flush coolant system, using the DIY from this forum.
2.Drop the oil, I don't know what's in there, but it doesn't look good. New motorcraft filter
3. Drop the transmission pan. New gasket and filter. Flush ATF and replace with synth.
4 Rear diff. Pump out whatever is in there and replace with synth 90-140? That should keep me pretty busy and give all my money to NAPA for a while.
Should I take out a glow plug to see if they are the Motocrafts?

I would test them with a light first. If you pull them might as well get all new.
