do the electrical fuel pump swap while its out, much easier to pull the fuel pimp and its lines while its out.
I converted mine to a 01 hpop reservoir, and hpop.

It'll be tough to do remote filters with the stock pump.
It has a dual stage pump.
Comes from tank, low side of pump, filter, high side of pump, heads, return from heads to fuel pressure regulator. It'll just take a lot of hose. Lol

I seen one guy do it with the "tight wod" mod. he used rubber line, mine would be much cleaner when im done.

ill have to do some research on the newer Hpop to see the benefits . that'll probably be something I keep and eye out for and change when mine dies.

I have a sd 17° pump on mine. Didn't do all that jazz with the reservoir though.

It flows more oil.
When I bought mine, I told them it was for a 94, so I didn't have to mess with anything in the reservoir.

Well the engine is getting closer to drop in.

Defiantly going with e-fuel

You must be registered for see images attach

Got all new o-rings, plugs and sealant all around the engine

Made up some new fuel lines to the heads, I'm happy enough how they turned out and it clears the turbo and pedestal.

Things are starting to look ****. Now for the fun of gutting both trucks and swapping wires.

Nice.
Not that it would help, but you could swap the feed and return on the heads. The engine doesn't care which way it flows. Lol

I was really thinking about plugging the factory feed holes and drilling, tapping, brazing 1/4 NPT fittings on the fuel rail drain plugs on the back of the heads. Drivers side would be easy, passenger would look like Dr. Seuss made it.

But why reinvent the wheel for an easy fix with 1/4 brake line and a few fittings for $12? Plus it's bigger than stock line to keep the injectors happy.

Oh and it took about 30 minutes to make, with the engine on the stand.

There's actually a banjo bolt also.
You can buy a high flow version. But could possibly go in there also.

I kept it stock locations on mine. Lol I did the fugazzotto efuel kit.
Looks like you eliminated the stock fittings with the fuel line sleeves? (Aka olives)

Yes I eliminated the olives. I do not like them. They work, but eventually leak. I couldn't fit #4 hydraulic line so I went with inverted flare to 1/4 NPT Tee and I'll run #6 hydraulic line from pump to filter and filter to engine.

I can't remember if mine kept them or not.
Even for a solid connection, I don't see there being enough vibration to cause a issue with the line's.

I'm not worried. 1/4 T is welded to a plate and bolted to the block so there shouldn't be too much vibration in the lines.

If they leak, I'll fix it.

If anyone cares, I started working on this pig again.

I got upset at it, got busy at work and simply didn't Touch it for a couple weeks.

Ended up find a 5 speed truck so now it's finally ready to put in.

Bought a LUK solid flywheel and clutch kit, Diamond Eye down pipe, and it was warm enough out to get to brothers 99 parts truck to swipe the fuel pump and pigtail.

Hope to have the transmission and cooling system in this week. I also said that last week.

I can't believe how much stuff needs to be changed from a 94 idi to a 94 PS... Just when I thought it'd be easy.

if youre switching to e-fuel, I would also be looking at the 99+ hpop reservoir and fuel bowl to do it cheaply.
