I need to use the head mounting bosses for something ive got up my sleeve.
however, I got a pipe plug in the face that I need to work around one way or another.

I have never pulled these plugs.
*** are they?

That is the oil drain back area of the heads.. Its a great location for any oil return like from a bypass oil filter. Usually very hard to reach because of brackets. BTW the rear of the heads have this same plug. So you have 4 ideal locations for secret stuff... Want 2 more main oil gally ports for clean pressurized oil..Look under the oil cooler bundle. There are 2 1/8 inch pipe plugs... Might be hard to remove too...

The alternator is so shiny why would you hide it down there?? I feel like maybe twin turbos on going to be mounted to the front of the heads and that's what you want this pipe plug gone for?? Lol

We had a Uhaul 22' moving van with a 7.3. It had an oil fed air compressor that fit on that location and used those drains in the head to return the oil back to the engine. That compressor had a pretty good sized oil feed line to it.

My only concern for using it as a turbo oil drain is size. Most people want like a 5/8 oil drain line. AN fitting there would be -6 max.
