My 72 D200 came with Factory AC. However, that monster cast iron V-twin compressor just robs power. I want to install a modern, smaller cylindrical compressor. Aside from basketry, what all would I have to change out to make that happen. Also, while I am at it I want to convert to a serpentine belt to run all of my accessories. Is there a simple budget friendly junk yard solution to this dilemma? If so, how trustworthy is said solution? I strongly prefer using OE parts in builds like this.
