I wonder what this page came out of? ...the format doesn't look anywhere near like the factory shop manuals. If I'm looking at it correctly, it's indicating two separate relays, which certainly doesn't exist on the '84-'86 system, per my factory shop manual and given that I've been through every inch of the glow plug wiring system on my '84.
Mel or someone else with an '83 should be able to confirm, but I still think this is describing the system used in '83 trucks.
