time to up grade my turbo

Ok guy's I have a 93 IC cummins with the stock turbo in my ford with a ZF5 and 4.10 gears. Things I have done so far ,heavy grind on my stock fuel pin, pump is cranked, 3200 gov spring and 4" exhaust from the turbo all the way back. My stock turbo seam to flutter a lot more then it use to and that makes me a little concerned. it used to only do it when i was towing a heavy load but now it does it when Im not towing anything. I've done a lot of looking around at what turbos to up grade to but Im looking for some real world info on what people have swapped in! That said i mostly use my truck as my dd and haulin my other toys around. Any info would be great

Im not able to offer any opinions on turbos, but what do you think of the zf behind the cummins?

What adapter, flyweel setup did you use.

I have a basdardized 92 with a t18 4 speed it in but im still thinking about using a zf instead of the 4 speed.

i like the Zf , i made my own adapter and i used a flywheel off a 2001 cummins with a southbend clutch for a 93 cummins to getrag splines are the same just had to make my own pilot bushing i have some pics of it all going together if you want ?

To bad your in canada. Id be interested in buying an adapter. The 92 I bought was converted to 4x4 and someone put a t18 behind. Its pretty interesting to say the least. It has a ford dana 44hd with closed knuckles and kingpins lol.

well put the HX35 on. out of the hole is no different but rolling down the highway in 5th is much better lol and less smoke
