As most of you have noticed I switched over the pictures to thumbnails. They can still be viewed in full size by clicking on them.

The previous poll was a 50/50 split. So I thought I would give it a try and see what people think.

So far I personally don't mind it. It certainly saves us a lot of bandwidth.

So let's here what you think. Post here or vote in the poll. :thanks:

The thumbnails are 200x200 so its not like they're hard to see.

I like it. loads 40 posts MUCH faster this way!!

Even 300x300 wouldnt be horrible. The problem arises when things start getting over 640x480 en mass, with one of two 1024x768's thrown in.

thumbnails work just as long as they can be opened up bigger (just the way you've got it set up now right?)

looks good to me!

Max, The thumbs are fine by me, as echoed by others I'm sure it helps with BW and loading speed.

I'm stuck with nothing but a modem, and 28k best speed. DSL isn't offered here in the mountains, and probably never will be. So I'm a big fan of the way Max changed it to thumbnails. It makes a HUGE improvement in page-load delays.

thanks Max.

Have you looked into wisps in your area? Wireless service providers.

thanks for the thought Max, but there isn't anything here.

There is a low-power WISP in this overall river valley, but not in "side canyon" that I'm up in...no signal.
