The 6.8, 10 cylinder engine, good, bad, ugly

Still looking for pickups, for the parents, what experiences have you guys had with this motor.
I know this engine will pass everything but a gas station.

Yeah a guy here at work says, "My dad has one, it gets the same mileage, loaded, unloaded, city or highway". So at least its consistent? So if it'll be used for heavy towing, I think it'd be an excellent choice. I guess that's exactly it! What will they be using it for?

Pretty much same issues as the 5.4. In reference to spark plugs blowing out and broken/rotted off exhaust manifold bolts.
