I think this is the right area to post this in, if not the mods can move it.

anyways I have two sets of aluminum super duty rims but I think they have a metric bolt pattern, correct?

I have a 79 f250 with d60s front and rear and I would like to put the super duty rims on it. I know the bolt patterns are pretty close but the SD is metric and the 79 is a standard lug pattern.

my question is, with some modifications can the SD rims fit on the old ford or will it just not work. not sure if anyone has done this before.

Can not redrill the rims safely. Not enough meat. Since the stock superduty wheels have more backspacing, the guys who do it use adapters.

so they would be tucked too far in with the different backspacing?

what size spacers do most people use? what is a good brand to use?

this is my plow truck, not sure if that changes anything.
