stuck manifold bolts

ok so i have a 1994.5 psd and it has a major exhaust leak so im doing up pipes and maifolds vut the manifolds are rust welded into the block and i dont want to strip out the head of the bolt.any ideas?

Good luck. Typically the manifolds themselves don't leak and most leave them alone.
But if you so wish, many use a die grinder and cut the bolts. Normally the threads don't stick in the block.

up north salt eats away at every thing so stuff that usually doesn't go bad does im going to try some heat today and see if it helps

Usually the bolt gets stuck in the manifold itself.
So you can try it. Worst case they break off.

I had one on mine that was broken off. Manifold didn't leak but the engine was out so it was an easy job. Drilled and tapped it to 3/8

Had one get stuck and break off on my 6.9. Used heat and an EZ-out. It came out, but it was out of the truck and on an engine stand. I put crazy heavy dose of copper anti-seize on those bolts when they went back in.
